- Results: Even though the surgery was just completed yesterday, I felt almost normal when I woke up this morning. There was some dryness, as Dr. Joe had mentioned, but my vision was already much clearer than before. Dr. Joe informed me that it would improve even further over the next week. Amazing!
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this LASIK experience. I would give it a 10/10 rating.

“Here’s my review of having LASIK with Dr. Joe. I now have crystal-clear vision—from a prescription of -5.00 and -7.00 to 0! 🥳 Goodbye, glasses 👋🏻😎 I chose to undergo the FemtoLASIK procedure.
Dr. Joe and her team were incredibly kind and provided excellent guidance both before and after the surgery.
Pre-Surgery Evaluation: The hospital scheduled an initial appointment to assess my vision and determine if I was a suitable candidate for the procedure, checking for factors like corneal thickness. For frequent contact lens wearers, a break is required before the evaluation.
Surgery Day: Once it was confirmed that I was eligible, the hospital scheduled my surgery. On the day of the procedure, you’re required to have someone accompany you to drive you home.
Surgery Process: The team applied numbing eye drops before beginning. I didn’t feel anything during the surgery, which took around 10-15 minutes to complete. After the procedure, I wore protective goggles and headed home. Once back, I rested as per the doctor’s instructions.
Post-Surgery Care: Dr. Joe scheduled follow-up appointments 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, and 6 months post-surgery to monitor my recovery and ensure optimal results.
Overall, I am extremely pleased with the results and the care I received”

I decided to go with Dr. Joe, Dr. Pornlada Sunlakaviset, an ophthalmologist with first-class honors from Siriraj Hospital and UCLA in the United States. Dr. Joe is incredibly skilled 🥰 The equipment is state-of-the-art, the facilities are excellent, and the staff provided great care. I’m really impressed!
Dr. Joe gave me detailed advice and paid close attention to my needs. Since I had mixed eyesight, after my initial evaluation, Dr. Joe recommended that I try wearing contact lenses with different prescriptions to simulate the intended correction, to see which option I preferred. In the end, I opted for FemtoLASIK with monovision.
I would recommend coming on a weekday, as weekends tend to be very busy!”
